Abstract Movement . . . each painting has a different pattern moving through it.
To the left is a close up of the sand grain surface of the gesso primed watercolor paper used for each painting in this series.
Each painting has a different pattern underneath - there are swirls of movement - and directional movement - and each pattern sets into motion it's own unique dimension to a flat surface.
Each support was created to inspire a painting - and each one speaks to me as I work with it - color comes alive and movement speaks it's silent language.
