http://pozycjonowany69.iktogo.com/post/can-google-adwords-effect-my-websites-search-engine-ranking

It is straight forward and simple to submit a web site for free to the search engines and a task that can be done in a few minutes. However, there are plenty of companies offering search engine submission services, these services re-submit your web site to the search engines periodically for a given time period. It amazes me that these services exist and amazes me more why people pay for them.
Google states on its web master pages that re-submitting your web site to the search engine does not make a difference to a sites ranking or to how quickly the site appears in the rankings and from experience this is also true in Yahoo! and MSN.
Why submit your site to the search engines?
Submitting your web site to the search engine will make your web site visible to its robot. A search engine robot is a web spider that runs across the internet, indexing web pages one at a time, following links it finds on other web pages. The submission of your web site to the search engine will inform these robots to index your site. How quickly the robot indexes your web site depends on the search engine, so no guarantees can be made.
Once your web site has been indexed the search engine may rank your site relevant for certain keywords it has picked up on, although these are not taken from your keywords meta data. Again, this is not a guarantee and can take months (especially if it is Google) before your site is visible to search engine users.
How do you know when your web site has been indexed?
The first indication of this can be seen in your web analysis tool, usually under the section marked robots/spider visits. If you do not have such a tool, id recommend installing AW Stats which is free and will accomplish most peoples needs, or you can search through your web sites log files for the IP addresses of the search engine spiders. The main IP addresses to look out for are: Google - will be seen as Googlebot Yahoo - will be seen as Inktomi Slurp MSN - will be seen as MSNBot For a more detailed list take a look at the web robots pages [http://www.robotstxt.org/wc/active/html/index.html]. Once you have identified the robot visit to your web site, it is time to see if your web site has been indexed. To do this you will need to go to the search engine and type in the following command:
site:www.yoursite.com
Replace http://www.yoursite.com for the web address of your web site.
If the search engine returns your web site then it means you have been successfully added to its index and can be found by search engine users. However, if your web site does not appear be patient it may take a while.
How to improve the chances of being indexed?
It is possible although not guaranteed to speed up the inclusion of your web site to the search engines by having their spiders find your web site before actually submitting your web site to the engine. This can be done by having a web site that has already been indexed link back to your web site.
This can be done in several ways, some are examples are to have your web site address as part of your signature in a forum, or by having your web design company give you a link as part of their portfolio.
In my experience this has helped considerably, and is always favorable to submitting a web site manually to the search engines. Although, there is nothing wrong with manually submitting your web site!
Is using a submission service bad for my web site?
This does depend on how the company submits your web site to the search engine. Search engines have become good at distinguishing between manual submissions and bulk automated submissions usually made from these types of services (sometimes having different URL’s available), normally when a search engine detects a bulk web site submission it will usually process them slower than manual submissions.
What search engines should I submit to?
Be extremely wary of web sites that say they can submit your web site to 100’s if not 1000’s of search engines. The majority of these search engines will not provide you with any traffic and the web site will likely sell on your email address.
You should submit your web site to the following search engines: Google Yahoo MSN Submitting your web site to these three search engines does not restrict your sites visibility as can be seen by this web site detailing whom powers who where submitting to these 3 actually submits your web site to many more.
Are there any other web sites my site should be submitted to?
In terms of providing your web site with the best possible start in life you should be trying to submit your web site to the following sites: Yahoo! Directory Open directory project Conclusion
Search engine submission is about making your web site visible to the search engine robots. This can be done by manually submitting them to the search engine via their own add site URL or from their robot finding you from another link. Search engine submission services that re-submit your web site are in the end a waste of money.

So basically the Google ranking is given by the PageRank algorithm that is like this:
PR(A) = (1-d) + d (PR(T1)/C(T1) +... + PR(Tn)/C(Tn)) where: PR(A) is the PageRank of page A, PR(Ti) is the PageRank of pages Ti which link to page A, C(Ti) is the number of outbound links on page Ti and d is a damping factor which can be set between 0 and 1.
Here we see some interesting things: PageRank does not rank sites as a unit. Instead determines for each page individually. Also, you can see that the formula is recursively, where the Pagerank of page A is defined by the PageRanks of those pages that link to page A. So something you should consider is inbound and outbound links.
Link submission is a crucial part of ranking in Google so I will explain to you how I get ready for this process: To start this process you will need some Anchor text and description that fit best your site. This is, create a few (5 o 6 to begin with) mixing keywords. Place the keyword both in the Anchor Text (title) and Description. Anchors usually can contain between 1 and 6 words and description can be up to 250 characters (this depends on the directory).
Later you can submit your site to many free Directories. Just Google search "Free Web Directories".
Here is also a small recommendation of SEO friendly directories that have really high Pagerank and can help you build a nice quality traffic:
1 ipl.org 2 dmoz.org 3 freeprwebdirectory.com 4 adirect2z.com 5 mastermoz.com 6 nuoret.org 7 searchsight.com 8 searchwiz.com 9 arakne-links.com 10 directory-free.com

Information like this will help you understand Google PageRank, and also improve your site ranking

Every website owner fully understand the importance of search engine optimization and the impact of a well optimized website on the amount of free traffic. As traditional (pay up front) SEO is slowly but surely dying off due to the fact that it has been exploited by scam offers promising but usually not delivering, a new SEO pay per result service has emerged delivering more for you money, which means you pay only once your website appears on the first page on Google.
In a nutshell, SEO pay per result service is a results based service and a SEO company will get your money only after they delivered the agreed results. This compared to traditional SEO, where you pay upfront and no results are guaranteed, is a pretty good deal. Also, you as a client have more trust in your SEO company simply because you know they will get paid only after they delivered results, which makes them really to work harder on your behalf.
Another good thing about SEO pay per result service is that you have an SEO expert checking on your website position each and every month during the length of the contract, as the goal of the SEO company is to keep you on the first page in Google. And the cost? The price structure varies from one agency to another but at Proimpact7.com you are charged on average around £70+ per keyword per month depending on the quality of the keyword (after the results have been delivered), with no set up fees etc.
From the above examples you can see there are plenty of positives of using an SEO pay per result service, but what about the negatives, are there any? With SEO pay per result service you usually end up paying more annually than when using traditional SEO. Of course, any money you pay with SEO pay per result service is always justified as your website is on the first page on Google and receiving valuable free traffic so not a real con there at all.
The only possible drawback of SEO pay per result service is that you are tied to a 12 month contract and that if you receive traffic to your website that doesn't convert and you don't see return on your investment, you still have to pay the monthly fee.

Finally I would like to say, if you want results for your money the best way to go is to use SEO pay per result service, as you will have an SEO expert working on your website and keeping a constant eye on the campaign. For those who need their site optimized only for 1-2 keywords, this service could prove very cheap to start with as there is no upfront payment required.
Jan Petrovic is founder of ProImpact7.com. At ProImpact7 I am in charge of A/B and Taguchi testing, usability service and our site inspection service. On our latest project we have increased conversion rate by 151.6% and we are very confident that we can help majority of he business with their websites. Our proimpact7.com website is on the 1st and 3nd and 4th position for "SEO pay per result service".

Keywords are an integral part of marketing a product, service, website, or anything online. External keywords as well as internal keywords must be researched and utilized in every online marketing endeavor. When the right keywords are secured, they need to be used on the website itself, and offsite as described in the five examples below.
1) First, we have PPC marketing. This is where you place ads in Google, other search engines, or targeted websites, and then pay per each click that someone makes on the ad. Keywords are targeted for the market that you want to attract and there are many strategies that can be applied to these external keywords. Many marketers find success utilizing this method of online marketing.
2) Article marketing has been proven very successful to market both products and services. External keywords are used in the title of the article, throughout the body of the article, and as the anchor text in the link that is place in the resource box that follows the article. Here again, it is most important to do thorough keyword research so that you find the key words and phrases that you can compete with online. The last thing that you want to do is put time and effort into a project that will never return results. If the keyword you target already has thousands, or tens or hundreds of thousands, of websites using it, you may never be able to rank high enough in the search engines for people to find you.
3) Using keywords as tags, or anchor text, anytime that you place your website URL online is a great strategy for the search engines because they will find these tags and be able to follow them to your website. When they see that your website is related, with the same keywords as your external keyword links, your website will be rewarded with top search engine listings. These tags also establish backlinks to your website that are highly regarded by the search engines.
4) Social media and social marketing use external keywords to link back to websites with the goal of driving traffic to the websites. People search the social sites by using keywords to find what interests them or what they want to know more about or research. If they like the content or information that is given, they will spread the word which can bring a lot of referral traffic to the website. This kind of traffic is highly targeted since the visitor is already looking for what your website represents.
5) Other forms of online advertising are also centered around external keywords that link back to the website. When you post a video online or bookmark your website or post a document from your website, you use keywords to tag the information. When participating in forums, you use keywords to find your market. Any kind of content that is placed online, in the formats mentioned and many others like podcasts, banner advertising, classified ads, even email marketing use keywords as an integral part of the process.
Marketing a website online can be done in any number of ways. It is beneficial to use at least a few of these at a time to create different funnels that can send traffic to the website. The goal is to get new visitors to the website every day so that you can present your product or service and convert visits into sales. External keywords are such an important part of the online marketing process that if you are not confident you can find the right keywords, it is well justified to outsource this essential task.

To learn more about how your website can rank high in the search engines, bringing more targeted traffic to your website, visit our external keywords page.

The majority of website advice and articles are targeted towards making money and business minded people. Search Engine Optimisation is largely a science aimed at generating traffic for websites- but this is mostly done with the aim of increasing revenue for the owner of the website.
However not all websites have the aim of building revenue. Church websites certainly don't fit into this category. Many churches are non profit organisations and a large number of churches are interested in sharing their message, and they rely on donations and will ask for them, but they view their websites in an entirely non commercial way. In fact because of this, many churches and religious organisations don't even have websites, although this is changing.
Church websites are largely information based. This information is aimed at converting a person, encouraging a person with religious thoughts, providing religious materials regularly (daily bible reading etc) or to push a certain stream of thought. Many local church websites are also used to encourage church attendance in their area. Because of the purpose of church websites, traditional commercial promotional methods are often not used.
Many religious leaders ignore popular marketing advice or advertising systems (such as Adwords) or other forms of website promotion because is intrinsically linked with commerce - but this is a mistake. In particular Search Engine Optimisation should be a large (if not the most important) priority in the building of an information based website.
Search Engine Optimisation has several components to it - the external which involves link building and other off site activities. It also has the internal which involves on-site optimisation. This second component is crucial to church websites. This takes the information about a local church and optimizes it on the website so that it captures traffic from Search Engines in the Local Area. This is likely to and does lead to new people attending churches.
Let me give an illustration. In my home town of Mt Morgan, in Queensland Australia, I built a very simple church website for Peace Apostolic Community. The site has audio sermons, church newsletters and a blog and that is all.
I optimised the site with keywords that relate to its community, and to its activities so that local people who search for those activities will see the church in the listings. So a new person moves to Mt Morgan and is looking for a church to attend, they type into Google "Mt Morgan Church" and the website for Peace Apostolic Community is displayed prominently at the top in the Google Local Listings (more on this in a minute) and then further down in 6th position as well.
No special promotion took place to achieve this position - there was no link building campaign or advertising blitz. This result is simply a benefit from on site search engine optimisation.
In addition, Google offers local businesses and organisations a Place listing. This is a free service and each church should list for their community. This increases the chance of being found in searches like the one described above.
The benefits from search engines come begin with proper optimisation of websites using keywords, and this should be a priority for church and religious leaders. SEO simply means taking the time to determine the proper keywords that are appropriate for a website, and including them in the right places like titles, page names, headings and so on.

This article may be used without permission but a link to the church website designer page must be included.

Ranking for keywords is not nearly as easy as it used to be, even if you are the first on the scene. In the past it simply took a ridiculous amount of content that was packed with keywords, perhaps to the point where a human could not read it, to rank highly on search engines. Then came the days of building inbound links and/or buying bundles of inbound links to drive traffic, but that day is now fading away too. Why do these techniques come and go just when people can figure them out? It is the very fact that people are figuring them out that is the problem. The only answer is to stay on top of the latest SEO techniques, but that is easier said than done.
The easiest way to stay on top of real SEO techniques is not popular, but it has to be said: pay for it. The bottom line is that search engines only remain in power and relevant so long as they return results that users want, not what content writers wish. Sometimes those are the same thing, but there are only so many links on any search engine result page (SERP) for content links and meta-descriptions. This means competition is part of the game, and search engines know that this drives some people to the point where they try nearly anything to get on top...even if it is unethical and/or goes against the needs and wants of the search engine.
As a result, search engines constantly update their SEO algorithms, and the code that compares results of different algorithms to uncover anomalies that might be telltale signs of an attempt to trick a single type of SEO routine. With so many algorithms and comparative analysis software running, it really does take a small company to continually monitor what is happening with SEO in real time. A few additional workers are required to update documents and even more workers are required to keep SEO-related software up to date. All of this labor does cost something, but failing to adhere to the latest in SEO might mean spending endless time blogging to little or no avail. The choice is ultimately yours.
You might try taking the so-called 'free' route and trust websites and forums that have potentially outdated information and risk taking bad advice that could leave lasting harm on a website from an SEO point of view. The worst-case scenario is that you end up spending a ton of time and hurting a website rather than helping it. On the other hand if you do decide to opt for paying for the latest tools and information from companies like SEO Moz, then it only becomes a question of learning how to use those tools effectively. Luckily, companies like SEO Moz pack plenty of instructions and how-to guides into their site, which means that success is only a matter of effort and diligence at this point.

Charles is an avid technology enthusiast. He relies on SEO to make money. He uses SEO Tools to make sure he is doing the right things to make his sites rank.

There are numerous propositions why start-ups lack interest in getting SEO services. This article aims to show how to best help start-ups and particularly small start-ups by introducing SEO to market their website or online business.
Premise One: Most start-ups don't appear to have funds
This is a huge issue for people starting out their own business. Clients often would like to jump straight in and ask 'how expensive is this SEO stuff going to cost me?' I urge that you do not answer this right away. Keep in mind though that new businesses might not have huge marketing budget, yet you simply cannot offer the services you provide for free.
Therefore, during your first strategy meeting with your new client, it's essential to gauge where they may be at first, to be able to offer them a proposal that can really help them. You need to assure them that this is beneficial for their business and at the same time, assure them that you are there to assist them, and not bust their bank account. Your role is always to help them grow their business and not to bleed it dry.
Premise Two: Make It Simple
It is necessary should you try to win the client or to gain more business from your client, to help keep everything simple. Use terms the client will understand. Do not try to flood real technical terms to your client. Your aim should be to educate your client what your SEO is all about in such a way that he will understand it easily.
Premise Three: Don't Do Everything At the Same Time.
Starting a brand new business is daunting enough, especially for a sole trader, a new small enterprise or partnership. Don't overwhelm them with the countless aspects of SEO. Think of a plan so your support for that client is clearly structured and divided into bite-size stages. It's no good stating in your first meeting that you have to tackle the on-page optimization, back link building, guest blogging, tweeting, posting to Facebook, Stumbling etc. They already have enough on their plate!
What I am not saying is to ignore these matters. Explain their significance but structure their SEO strategy. Remember that if it's gradually built up, it is going to appear more 'natural' which of course is way better received by search engines than a temporary and unexpected boost.
Premise Four: Report Back the Results
Because most new businesses have small or limited funds, they want to see ROI faster - even if initially they notice an improvement in terms of search rankings or perhaps the number of visitors to their site. This is how they are going to judge your services. You need to report to them regularly. Most of our clients prefer monthly reports, which really is a reasonable expectation in my experience. But again don't flood them with stat reports.
Final Premise: Enjoy and Don't Apply Pressure
Working on a new client's new business SEO ought to be a great experience for you both - build the customer relationship allowing you to have repeat business, a better understanding of your client as a person and a business. Don't pressure your client or prospect into taking your ÂŁ1,000 package if the ÂŁ50 package is appropriate.
And lastly but not least - a happy client may very well be a referring client, so build on the above mentioned principles and have fun doing it!

Almost everyone from interactive advertising agencies to any web advertising agency worth its salt to business owners who are looking to turn their online presence into a revenue-generating business venture has heard of "search engine optimization", although they all may have half baked ideas about what exactly it entails.
The earlier practice was to select some keywords, place them (or stuff them, as was the norm earlier) in the web content, throw in some meta tags (again stuffed with keywords), submit the website in directories and exchange of few links with other sites.
But that practice has for long been on its way out. Neither is it enough to make your website search friendly enough, not is it looked upon favorably by either the search engines or your customers.
Typical search engine optimization is not enough any more to established your online presence or your brand. With Web 2.0 firmly in and Web 3.0 peeping on the horizon, these are times to let people, the end users take the decision, take your message forward in so many shapes as Web-video, web-audio, web discussions, articles, blogs, forums, postings in social networking sites (SNS) and what not.
SEO in these times is about delivering the marketing message to the targeted audience, not just make it SE friendly. If latter is your choice, or you are still stuck in the old method of SEO, you will end up corrupting or distorting the message by techniques aimed at attracting search engine robots. This way you will drive away real people who may actually be potential customers.
8 Milestones To Success
With Web 2.0, audio and video content have become very effective method of delivering marketing messages over the Web. But before you as a web marketer jump on to the bandwagon, do go over following points to ponder:
(a)These multi media messages should not be cost prohibitive so that even small and medium-sized companies could afford professional Web-audio and Web-video. They are the real revenue earner for you.
(b)Remember the website design is about delivering the marketing message effectively and unequivocally and not just search engine optimization. This point is particularly important for web design firms who double as web advertising agencies.
(c)Professionally done Web-audio and Web-video requires more than just the ability to use a video camera. So avoid a rush job as professional multimedia story-telling requires a unique set of creative skills and technical ability.
(d)Make sure that all messages whether on the web or offline confirm to each other whether you have been developer of all these messages or not.
(e)Evaluate business opportunities in the broader sense of marketing. Build viable partnerships by sitting down and taking a hard look at how various factors might complement your message.
(f)Don't ever forget that the web is used by 87% of Internet users today to research goods and services and that extra knowledge is not available anywhere else. So do give the visitor something worthwhile. Ask yourself while designing a website or any marketing campaign, what as a user am I getting and will it add value to my life, career, business, etc.
(g)Spend considerable time to analyze what the competitors are doing. If they are successful you would know why, and if they are not you would know what to avoid.
(h)Do spend time to make a beautiful web site that is attractive and add value to the visitor, but it will all be wasted effort if it does not make it easy for people to contact your client. Take time to build a site that lets people communicate with the client. Very fundamental, but equally necessary and ignored many a times.
All this sounds great but how and who can implement the strategies. Pay attention to what those old marketing warhorses are saying. Web or not, the fundamentals of marketing remains right there, and companies with experience in marketing and advertising along with providing web development services are best equipped to show you the right and time tested way to do things. These guys may not flaunt the latest PDA or be rather old fashioned in their sense of fashion but they have years of experience building successful campaigns behind them.

Every body who is related to or works within the link building industry will know about the issue about buying text links and other forms of links to improve your pagerank and listings within the serp's. If you do not know then I will explain Google has started to impede the websites that are selling link ads, high pagerank directories and other websites that are in effect helping to manipulate the results in the serp's. For sometime now (until recently that is) it was possible to purchase very high pagerank links by using not your company name but your actual keyword as the link (known as Anchor text) This proves very effective for getting your website to the top of the SE's and for this reason Google has started to penalise websites that sell these links. So over the last 2 pagerank updates we have seen a large decline in high PR directories some lost there pagerank all together and others were reduced from scores of 6 out of 10 to 3 and 4 out of 10 and so on. In some ways this is a very good method for making a level playing field in the world of SEO. The main problem now for many SEO companies is where they are able to get there links from. Many SEO companies used to charge their clients a large fee in which some of that money was used to purchase high pagerank links. Now they are stuck because these links are slowly being eradicated and not only that if you do reside in purchasing links you are setting the site up for a chance where it could possibly become penalised along with the website that is selling the link. The problem we all have is that the idea in regards to linking purposes is the fact that you are supposed to create a superb website with plenty of good content so people will link to your website because of the quality it offers. But let's put this to into perspective, I create the best website you have ever seen and daily add the best written content that has ever been written. Now then you know my website is high quality but I need relevant links, so let's say the most relevant links are ones in my own industry. But who in their right minds in my industry is going to link their websites to my own. They will then be in fear that my website will rank better than their own and that is definitely a big no to other websites as they do not want to create further competition. The next problem, obviously then no one is likely to link to my website in my industry, so next I need to find websites that are the same theme. Again it is very unlikely they are going to link their website to mine without something in return no matter how impressive my site is. So we have to look at other methods of being able to get relevant links. The next method without purchasing links is to trade links through the form of a reciprocal link. Although reciprocal links do not provide as much wait in value to websites as a backward link they are still a good way of getting a good relevant link. But again Google through its godliness has decided that again reciprocal links are not correct for their search engine and now I have seen many websites links pages become grey barred and have no visible pagerank. So in reality the most fundamental method that is supposed to gain you good links through my impressive website will not come into effect, also I cannot reciprocate with relevant websites, I cannot purchase links so where do I go next? Although this issue is a pressing issue there are still many other methods such as Blogs, Articles, Social bookmarking and many more methods that can are effective at getting you good rankings. The problem is though how long will these methods be effective with Google deeming that many of these aspects of link building are incorrect and will be soon become outlawed by Google.

"I did what you said and I'm getting 100 visitors a day from Google. But they still aren't buying my product."
Never minding that some small businesses would be deliriously happy with 3000 addiitonal visitors a month - what do you do when the plan you had to increase your search engine traffic doesn't give you the results you want?
You re-evaluate your plan.
Did you target the right keyword? Are your pages ready to convert? How's your lead capture system? Do you even have one?
You'll need to ask yourself all these questions, and more, but before you even get to that, here's the thing that doesn't seem obvious, the thing you have to resolve before you can move forward.
There's some outside chance - way, way outside - that an increase in search engine traffic just isn't the right way to solve your traffic problem.
What's more likely is that you have made one of the following mistakes or oversights. Before you abandon hope, make sure that the reason for lack of conversions isn't one of the following reasons.
1. You're trying to generate more traffic than a particular keyword can provide.
There might not be ten thousand people online looking for how to make ropes out of cheese every day. If your area is obscure, find out how much of a traffic yield you can expect from search engines, get as much of it as you can, then move on.
2. It would work if you would do all the steps.
In every plan, you'll have to work on optimizing both your content and how it is found. There's just no two ways about it. Depending on your site and how it delivers its information, how frequently it does so, and how many sites are linking to it, and a host of other factors, whether you'll have to lean more on updating content or links will vary.
There's no cookie cutter solution, so do all the suggested steps for traffic success.
3. You don't have a plan.
You know what they say about a failure to plan. If you don't, trust me, it ain't good. Have a goal. If you don't know what to set it on, base it on an increase in revenue. Think backwards from the increase in buyers you would need to make the kind of money you'd like.
4. You're using the wrong plan.
Not every traffic generation method you can leverage for search engine traffic is good for every site or business.
While it's true that the proper blog configuration can turn your site into a search engine magnet, that isn't the only reason to blog, and it doesn't mean that just any platform is suited to your site.
By all means, don't stop blogging because no one is reading your blog - find out why and address that problem. It could be that they can't find it, but it could just as well be what you're writing about.
5- You bought into a sales pitch as a search engine traffic plan.
I'm not going to tell you that article marketing won't help your search engine traffic if executed correctly. I will, however, tell you that most people don't set it up to get the most benefit out of the process, and that it's not a search engine strategy in and of itself.
6. You're paying no attention to analytics, so you have no idea what changed and when.
Getting 100 visitors a day to a site that was getting none is a triumph. Getting 100 visitors a day from search engines to a site that used to get 1000 search engine visitors a day? Not so much.
You need, at bare minimum, a starting place to compare to, or else how do you know you've gotten anywhere?
7 - The traffic plan is fine. Your conversion plan isn't so hot though.
If Google sends you a million visitors and they land on a page full of huge banners, they'll just leave. Give every page a clear purpose, and make sure each one has the ability to get your visitors to buy, subscribe, join, or whatever you'd like them to do, right then or on another day.
Those are the seven most common ways that search engine traffic can leak back out of your site. Even if one of those doesn't solve your search engine traffic problem, if you take action on each applicable point, it will at least help you get more out of your existing traffic.
