Gmail is in my opinion one of the best most efficient email delivery systems I have used. It is also fun to use. I use Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Docs and a few more applications as my personal assistant.
There are so many great qualities and advancements Google has going on with Gmail which is "Google's approach to email". I used the phrase directly from Google's' Gmail page. I will first start with reasons why I personally like Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs and a few other applications.
Gmail has an excellent spam filter system. Google chat is awesome and it is built right into the Gmail interface. Users are able to search their chats. Chat conversations can be saved with no worries losing chat conversations. Gmail search is awesome. Sometimes when I can not actually recall when I received an email I just type in a few keywords and I am able to search for the email right within in Gmail. Google Calendar is a great way for me to set up and create events. It allows users to add comments and set up a reminder when your appointments coming up or when certain deadlines are approaching. Google Docs is a great way for me to write word similar documents and spreadsheets. Google Talk, I love Google Talk. I was using Skype at one point and time and I just basically leaned towards using all of the features and benefits of what Google offers. Therefore I have been able to literally encourage people who want to keep in touch with me constantly to move to Google and use the various applications. Google AdSense Ads within Gmail coincide for the most part with the subject of the email received. For instance, I received an email about a nutrition product and all of the Google Ads matched the nutrition subject. I seriously sometimes just peruse the different ads because they are so interesting. Google AdSense just covers the gamut as far as different categories and business ads that are offered. Mostly I like that the ads are not from scam artists or bogus ads. Google is always adding space. When I go to the Gmail site I always see how much free space they are constantly adding. Google Gmail and the other services mentioned are free.
Recently, I desperately needed to get organized. I was using Gmail, Google Docs and Google Calendar to get a few tasks completed. I normally go to Google Calendar and create my events. I set up my pop up and email reminders for a variety of different events. Next I type the text for my email letters and save my letters within Google Docs. Lastly, when I get a calendar alert, I open my email letters, paste them in the email body and send.
Google Gmail has afforded me to use a great system. However, utilizing my own methods I had three screens open to operate this mini system I had going for myself. Just recently, I viewed Google Labs and found information about a Google Calendar gadget and a Google Docs gadget. I enabled these two features and I am now able to view my calendar and documents on the same page as my Gmail. Just by having my calendar and my documents on the same page I have been able to skip several steps and become more efficient.

When you operate a business on the internet, you should have a good understanding of keywords. Keywords help people find your website and, when used properly, they can help your website rank better in search results. Since Google handles approximately 70% of the search engine market, it's a good idea to start your keyword research using the Google Keyword Tool.
Before you start using the tool, be sure that you understand the match types that you can choose from. There are 3 match types you can choose from when you run searches; broad, exact, and phrase. Each one has its pros and cons. Remember, even though it is important to use keywords properly, always create your content for people first, and search engines second. If it doesn't make sense when people read your content, it doesn't matter how much traffic your site gets.
BROAD MATCH TYPE Broad will give you very high search volume results, since the results will include any and all variations of the keyword you type in. For example, if you run a search on "pepperoni pizza," the monthly search volume includes any searches with the word "pepperoni," or "pizza." It's not a very accurate reflection of the volume that you could expect when you choose to target a specific keyword phrase.
PHRASE MATCH TYPE When you run a search using "phrase," the results will include the exact phrase with variations. For example, if you type in "pepperoni pizza," the monthly search volume will include the exact keyword phrase, as well as variations, such as "good pepperoni pizza," or "best pepperoni pizza." For one-word keywords, the results will be the same as "broad" searches.
EXACT MATCH TYPE If you use "exact" match type, it's a much better indication of the traffic you might receive if your web page shows up on the first page of Google search results. Exact match type includes only the search volume for the exact phrase, with no variations. So, when you type in "pepperoni pizza," you only get the search volume results for that exact phrase. If you get on the first page of Google for a specific phrase, you might get additional traffic for similar keywords, but it's better to be pleasantly surprised, rather than very disappointed.

Long tail keywords are multiphrase search queries, combination of three or more words, that visitors use in search engines to arrive at a website. Long-tail keywords are much more targeted than the general or main keyword topic, and they literally express the visitor's need for specific information.
The benefits of choosing long-tail keywords are that these keywords have high conversion rate, and they are easier to rank as competiton will be less for these keywords.
There are many free and paid keyword research tools available. But none of them really provide long-tail keywords related to a particular niche.
There is way to find out the hidden, long tail, highly profitable and high conversion rate keywords using Google Suggest. Here, I am going to explain you a methodology that Ifollow to find long-tail keywords.
Google Suggest: It is easy to find long tail keywords using Google suggest. Go togoogle.com. Make sure that you open google.com and not in regional Google website like google.co.uk.
Google Suggest analyzes what you're typing into the search box and offers relevant suggested search terms in real time. You can choose one of the suggested queries by moving up or down the list with the arrow keys or mouse.
For example, search with "dog beds". As you type, it gives you key phrases. You should see some key phrases that are not in our previous list like "dog beds for gaint danes.", "dog beds for gaint dogs." etcc
These are long-tail keywords.
Play around with it by typing slowly and going alphabetical.
Examples:
"dog beds a"
"dog beds for"
Make a list of all the keywords suiting to your niche.
Open Google suggestion tool and enter all the keywords you have noted before and find the monthly volume search. Make sure that you select "Match Type" as "Exact". This way you can find the hidden, highly profitable keywords using Google suggestion tool.
TIP: Choose the keywords that have a monthly volume search of a minimum of 1500. Create dedicated pages to these keywords and optimize them.

How do I find the PageRank of a Web Page? Well, PageRank is a score from zero to ten that Google assigns to a particular web page. The PageRank denotes the importance of the site in the eyes of Google and is determined by several factors, including the number of other important pages that are linking to that web page.
The higher the amount of important pages linking to a web page, the higher its PageRank or PR.
To find out the PageRank of a web page you need to download the Google Tool Bar, just search Google for this.
If you already have a Google Tool Bar but it does not have a PR button you may need to uninstall your old Google Tool Bar and install the new one.
Once you have the PageRank Button you can check out thePR of all your web pages and the pages of your competitors etc. If you see that one of your customers or suppliers sites have a good PageRank try and get them to link to you.
On average, if you have a PageRank of 2 you are doing well.
As you get more incoming links your PR should go up.
Please also bear in mind that your current PageRank is only a snap shot in time, it may be weeks or months before it changes, but it doesn't mean Google won't improve your rankings just because your PageRank is not increasing.

oSubmit articles and page links to directories and exchanges. If you have more traffic coming in to your website, this could work to boost your ranking.
Google has always been rather tight-lipped about how, exactly, PageRank is formulated. Google Versus Bing - Your Best SEO Bet

I got into search engine optimization when Yahoo was king and Google was a gleam in Larry Page's eye so I've had a front row seat to all the big doings. And one thing I can tell you for certain is Microsoft just took off its kid gloves with the release of Bing and is looking for a shot at the reigning champ Google.
This article will show you how to hedge your bet with both contenders and come out a winner while these two Goliaths slug it out.
Round One:
First and foremost make sure you follow the one major rule that will apply to both engines; Content is King!
Although we don't yet have a clear picture of how Bing will react to all situations we do know that, since it is being touted as the first decision engine, it will focus greatly on quality of content. That said, be ready to make your pages a little longer than you did when optimizing for MSN and be certain the copy reads well.
Round Two:
Great content is not enough. It has to be well written and natural sounding. Anything that sounds like it was written for a search bot will not make it into the top one hundred let alone the top ten.
Round Three:
Still dealing with on page content, you need to carefully consider how many times your keyword is mentioned and where it is found on the page text. Both search engines will not only look for your keywords but also the context in which they are found. It is no longer enough to simply have them sprinkled in the text randomly. Now the keywords need to actually flow in the context of the text as well. This is typically taken care of for you when writing naturally but is definitely worth the extra once over before posting the final page live.
Here is a little formula to help...
1. Use one main keyword and up to two supporting keywords per page.
2. Do not repeat the main keyword more than three times on a page.
3. Do not repeat the supporting keywords more than twice each per page.
4. Try to have at least five hundred words per page.
5. Try to place your main keyword at the beginning, middle and end of the page text while keeping the writing natural and flowing.
Round Four:
Get as many high quality inbound links as possible. You already know this but it bears repeating. Search engines today are about popularity of the individual page returns. Having inbound links from Google authority sites will be more important than ever because any other search engine trying to trump Google will also be checking these stats as well as adding a few of their own.
That said, getting links from just the Google authority sites is not enough. You also want to get links from MSN's top picks (which are now Bing's top picks.)
Round Five:
To really hedge your bet, get an early leg up on your competition by becoming proficient in proven SEO software with a good track record on both Google and MSN.
And finally, look for domains for sale that are already ranked well on MSN. This could be the diamond in the rough opportunity of a lifetime for your online business.
By following these simple tips you can outdo ninety nine percent of your competition trying to share in the rewards offered by Google and Bing going head to head.
