‘C’est arrive demain’: I remember, as a child, watching an old black and white film starring William Powell, about a news reporter who managed to get his hands on a newspaper from the future. It was, and still is a favourite movie of mine. I wanted to buy the DVD, but I could only get my hands on the French version. The English title of the film is: ‘It happened Tomorrow’. I just imagined John Lennon being forewarned with a similar newspaper. In this case, a copy of The Liverpool Echo from December 1980. This is an original acrylic painting on box canvas. 60cm x 50cm.
