The luxury French retailer, Anne Fontaine, celebrated Chinese New Year with an art installation in their shop windows in Shanghai. The traditional lantern shape is reproduced with red colour lights, the colour of good fortune. The red chilies are a symbol in traditional Chinese culture of “hot” success. They are supposed to bring good luck and success to Anne Fontaine business as well as a “hot” look to their customers!
