While I thought of something related to the Roots, I was inspired by Enigma's music ''Child In Us''...I think Motherhood, as with people, as in symbolic understanding of the Earth itself could represent the concept of Roots best; because roots are not something that exist on their own; they need a tree with branches on it, to get sunshine; -parents need children to get hope that they will be still leaving when they die, reincarnated in their future generations...artist needs a dream to project it on his ''branches'' (-on what he creats)...the same principle of ''roots-tree-branches'' represents the principle of all living, of human civilization and of a single individual, of animal world and world of created culture...one basic principle tells a story of everything on our planet and even beyond it...as in materialistic or physical way, as in spiritual...

''Mzesumzera'' - sunflower, or the one, who's watching the sun (in georgian) is the name of one of my poems and of the newly edited book, too...the Sun became the symbol of Belief, of hope...I have poems regarding all the subjects: real and non-real; in short, they are all about HOW TO BE A HUMAN. I believe that there are lots of geniuses, and even more talented people;but being a Human, with full meaning of this word - is the greatest and rearest talent of all... a lot of my poems regard recent georgian-russian agression, overall concept of peace and just how ipmortant it is to spread love. a lot from this book is about searching - for ideals, for your own soul, for purity that ones was lost with ones birth...anyways, I think I havent left out any subject in my book...a lot is about how to not forget your past and how to create future...- also the name of my new gallery ''rooted and branched''- (past and future). my pictures are always linked somehow to what I write, so I think if someone has only seen my pictures, it means he knows my poetry , too, and the opposite: one who reads will imagine what a picture would be. warmly, Teo :)
