September 15, 2008 Then a poem in German - thanks Volker for this writing! Always wanted to know what a fly in a tower could think!

Volker Schütz, 2008, für Gilas Babylon Buzz!

Ich bin eine menschliche Fliege
und wohne in einem Pilz, in einem
Meer aus Beton, auf einer Treppenstufe.

Meine Nahrung rieselt von den Wänden
und sammelt sich im Keller. Von Zeit
zu Zeit kommt da eine Schippe zusammen:
Dann wird ein neuer Backstein gemacht!

Der Turm muss doch fertig werden!

Aber der Pilz wächst schneller! Summ, summ!
Noch dreimal herum. Dann ist der Sommer um.
Noch dreimal herum. Summ, summ.

Im nächsten Jahr ist alles anders.

Dann fliege ich weg.

Und lasse einen halbfertigen Turm zurück.
