American is embattled right now within it's own borders. The right and left can agree on nothing. It has become politically, a "them against us" mentality, with no compromises in sight. Policy appears to be more about which party wins and not about the people, or the effects on them and the country. We are in financial and social turmoil and don't seem to be able to rise above petty argumentativeness and acrimony to make policies that will steer our people and our country in greatness.
This is an entry for the Changes Exhibit. It is a painting on broken stone.
