AUTOBIOGRAPHY
She was born in 1964. She graduated from Buca Faculty of Education, Department of Fine Arts, Main Branch of Graphics in 1985. Her paintings at different corporations are exhibited as private collections in Russia, Switzerland, Cyprus, Germany and Turkey. She has attended to charity exhibitions in BALEV, KITVAK. She was presented in various catalogues. She has taken part in Izmir BEF International Visual Arts Meeting. She has received certificates of honour, certi of appreciation and platelets. Filiz Pelit is a member of Foundation of International Plastic Arts (UPSD). She has prepared and presented educational programs such as “Journey to Art of Drawing with Filiz Pelit” and “I Am Learning Art of Drawing” in different television channels. She has corner writings at different kinds of magazines and newspaper. She currently works in her workshop in Izmir.
Now the ongoing exhibitions of “Tale” and “Once Upon A Time Dreams”, in “Tell Me” besides children faces along with the tales and dreams told to grown-ups, the theme that is used as a symbol of “Life and Harmony” are “Fish and Angels”. Water drops replaced her words and there became an original unwritten fable.
