  • I like the work a lot, Neoexpressionism meets the east smashes west in an artistic synchroton fusing some and exploding some particles outward
    Excellent

  • I have it on great authority that Peter Ciccariello has extensively traveled to alien worlds . His pictures are not surrealistic but depictions of an actual reality

  • There is the mythical Elephant graveyard and there is the real boneyard of signs and signets, a place where letters, signs of all kinds, that did not quite make it into general usage are discarded.
It makes me sad to see such good ideas lost because they were not adopted. Find and adopt one the way the great artist formerly and presently called Prince did for a short bright moment in his career, when he identified his sign and refused to be called by any other name

  • I have to take some credit- Gila and I have been spending weeks together working on the Souped-Up Pontiac exhibition and having a lot of fun in Detroit and New York. She has been working in my Manhattan studio. These are her first paintings. I think they are very good. I taught her the basics of my philosophy of painting, based mostly on the material qualities of paint, exploring it and deciding on a strategy to apply it. She is a natural. We discussed how a lot of painting teachers are not helpful or supportive on new students.
I think the paintings in her gallery validate my approach. Talent
is important. In the wronn environment it can turn sour
She did better than me tonight. My paintings were not as good as her
