“Mona Youssef is a Canadian realist artist born in Egypt with passion for art since childhood. Her first oil painting was sold at age of 12. Mona has exhibited her oil paintings nationally and internationally and received numerous awards from first & second place awards, Honorable Mention Awards, Viewers’ Choice Awards to Certificate of Excellence Award. Her profile was published in many local, national & international publications such as “Who is who in Visual Art”, Germany,  “Florence Biennale Catalog”, Chianciano Biennale and in Ferrara, Italy, “Gallery & Studio” magazine (The world of the Working Artist) NYC, “Chamber of Commerce Courier”, Canada, "The sounds of art" Denmark, and in many Press Releases as a feature artist such as “Arteast Newsletter”, “Gloucester Art Council”, “Ottawa Art Association”, Canada.
 
Mona has a B.F.A and measured in Interior and Exterior designs, Commercial Arts Diploma, Certificate of Achievement in Digital Media and Desktop Publishing with Honor Award. In 1982 she was commissioned to produce oil painting of the Canadian Constitution Acts which was presented to the Prime Minister of Canada Mr. Pierre E. Trudeau. In 1999, mona has received a letter of thanks and appreciation from Mr. P. E. Trudeau for that painting.”
