BIOGRAPHY
Vishalandra Dakur, artist , passed Certificate of Drawing course by State Board of Technical Education, AP at the age 13 years in first class,and afterwards he completed Degree in Bachelor of Engineering in Osmania University and became engineer. and he is retired now. .During leisure time he has developed his art talent to such an extent , that he learned how to paint in extreme details of subjects like skin ,glass,clothing,gold jewellery, water effects etc,. he is learned painting miniatures. Now he may be called a finalist or a realist. or photo realist . His figurative work is appreciated by many art lovers. His photo realism paintings are so good to see at one will be confused that its a photo. His collectors are throughout india and abroad. Most of them are Chief Ministers, Ministers, polititians, District Collectors,Chief Secretaries of A.P Govt, Principals of colleges,Vice chancellors of Universities,M.D. of Banks,Ccrporate officers, spl. class prominant contractors.
Vishalandra Dakur is a born Artist, and at the age of 9 years he could produce best sketches of cine actors in his schools books. Afterwards he learned colour painting in water colours. He produced even at the age of 10 years good water colour portraits of great dignitaries of India. He painted and presented water colour portraits to Late Sri.S.Radha Krishnan, President of India at that tender age, and the President was impressed by his art, garlanded him and praised his work. Subsequently, he painted and presented to high dignitaries of India who appreciated his art. They are Late Smt. Indira Gandhi, Prime Minister of India, Sri.D.Sanjeevaiah, Sri.K.Brahmanand Reddy, and Sri. N.Sanjeeva Reddy former Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh. His art was also praised internationally by her Excellency Madame Jacquelyn Kennedy when he painted and presented to her the water colour painting of John F Kennedy, President of America and also Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, Yuri Gagarin, Soviet Cosmonaut when he presented them with their portraits at Hyderabad, India.,Sree G.Rami Reddy, Vice Chancellor of Open University, New Delhi.,Sree Gopal krishna,Justice of AP High Courts..sree Pratap Mullik, Bombay. etc.

Press Club of Hyderabad has arranged a one man show Exhibition of his paintings, which was inaugurated by the then Cultural Minister Sri.M.R.Appa Rao. Many higher officers like Chief Secretaries have praised his art.

His art is also praised by International Artists like Mr. Boris Valojo, Arnic Anderson, California U.S.A., and also by Mr.M.F.Hussain, India. Sree Pratap Mullik, Bombay.

Not only he is talent in Art, but Vishalandra Dakur stood state second in his studies also and became Engineer and he studied in Osmania Engineering College in Osmania University for Bachelor of Engineering Degree. He is retired Engineer in Irrigation Department of Government of Andhra Pradesh, India.

His paintings are realistic He has done a lot of fantasy and figurative paintings which are praised by many people who visited his galleries. Vishalandra Dakur says he has gained a technique of painting of glow of light on satin clothing. He is perfect in that clothing painting work. He does exact work of gold ornaments, which shines like gold in his painting. Vishalandra Dakur is great when he does miniature paintings. He paints a miniature in oil on an aluminium sheet and produces a face of size 1 cm width and height, where is he shows all the details of eyes, nose and mouth and other details without any defect. His miniatures have a lot of demand.

Not only his paintings with all the exact details like Photograph, but he completes the painting in a short time of One Day for any bigger size 4 feet and above.

Many Professional Artists and Fine Art College students and children gather at him to see when he paints and observe and learn the natural technique he has developed.

Many Newspapers and Weekly Magazines have published about his Art from 1960 onwards.

Vishalandra Dakur is interested in teaching children ,. and he wants to develop the skills in children with his technique of easiest way to paint. He assumes improving painting is not in the hands, but through the eyes to be trained.Many students

He works in the category of Fantasy and still lives are appraised by both International and National Personalities.

He has participated in many exhibitions and grabbed first and second prizes. Recently his solo exhibition was at Chitamayee,State Art Gallery, hyderabad on 9th july, 2008. where paintings 20nos out of 38 sold. He is not interested in money by selling, but he wants name.

Due to retirement, he is now decided to concentrate much of his time in exhibiting his arts in various galleries in India and internationally. He and his friends are planning tothat.
