10 th Gare ART Festival - 10e Gare Art Festival :
sculptures in aluminium created at the Place de paris (July - August, 7 2010) and exhibited in the hall of the Central station of Luxembourg from August 8 to September 19 2010.

The Gare Art Festival is an important event on the Luxembourg cultural landscape. It has been energizing the city every July for 10 years, since 2001.

International and local sculptors create works in real time before an audience at the railway station. Each artist must use the same material, aluminum sheets. They must devise and create a sculpture in one week. Luxembourg and the Gare Art Festival want to promote the Railway station neighborhood, artists creating sculpture is exciting for the public, underscores the importance of the Luxembourg art community, that can mount innovative and artistically sophisticated exhibitions. The sculptors come from the 4 corners of the globe. 6 sculptors were selected this year. The center of a burgeoning art community comes closer to Luxembourg each year.
