Semi-professional artistic career since 1987.
Specializes in abstract paintings.
Receives the Gold Medal in 2006 for the drawing "Lovers" and the Silver Medal for the abstract painting "Tanaka" from the "Cercle des Beaux Arts" in Verviers, Belgium.
In 2007, the well-known american author and poet Sam Hamill choses the abstract painting "Strong Enough" by Rom Lammar as cover picture for his newest release "Avocations".
Exhibitions in Luxembourg, Germany, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Hungary and the United States.

Artist statement :
Creating artworks has become for me a real passion and most of all, a feeling of joy. The joy to create something new, something unique. It allows me to express certain parts of my personality and to develope my identity in a creative way.
In many ways, my paintings can be considered as inner landscapes.
