Profile of Volker Schütz

Volker Schütz

I am a lomographer, pinhole artist and a hard working scientist! My job is to create and destroy pictures! Both is big fun! I need a lot of explosives, child’s toys and high tech stuff to do this! Interested? You can watch me doing these thing in "LOve & MOtion", the one and only and sooo beautiful documentary film about lomography: The Guy on the poster looking through a fisheye lens - that's me!

Thanks a lot and don't hesitate to mail!

Cheers, Volker

  • Hello Aki!
I'm Volker from the Cultureinside Exhibition last week in Luxembourg! And as I do read here about you and your art, I found a nice astonishment. That you lived near Hiroshima and that there was so much nature. That's funny, because I just did an experimental film ("The dance of princess Hiroshibelle") which plays after an war in a town like Hiroshima, and of course: There is no nature in my film. But I promise to you - before I do such a film again, i will ask someone about the town. ;-)
I can send you a copy of the film if You would like! (It will be translated to japanese too : )

I hope You liked to stay here in the old world,
    bye, bye,
    Volker

  • Hello Hyeyoung!

Again I do like your Silo concept. Each time you do come closer to the heart of this concrete monument: At first you discovered an entrance to this building: the elevator. Then you moved in and now, as the last unfullfilled consequence: You transform yourself into this Silo.

    Hut ab! Chapeau! That's perfekt!

  • Astrud's Dream is sooo beautiful! I like this picture so much! It's the secret star in cultureinside! Cheers, Volker (who likes mysterious girls living under water...;-)
